Oversees Everything. Ensures smooth team operations, coordinates between departments, tracks project progress, and maintains a collaborative and productive team environment while maintaining the team’s vision and mission.

Oversees the technical direction of the rocket project, coordinating between various engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of all systems. Responsible for setting project timelines, managing resources, and facilitating effective communication to keep the project on schedule and within scope.

This role includes the aim to enhance the organization's visibility, reputation, and engagement both internally and externally. You will be responsible for overseeing the responsibilities of the Communications team; including coordination of events, social media and all marketing-related activities.

Manages the team’s budget & oversees financial planning. The finance manager is responsible for keeping track of each sub-team’s budget and responsible for team payments or reimburses for travel costs and other expenses when needed.

Builds and maintains partnerships with industry, universities, and sponsors, representing RISE in external communications and networking opportunities.

Leads the engineering department by providing technical guidance and expertise across all disciplines. Ensures that all engineering designs meet project requirements and industry standards. Conducts design reviews, validates technical decisions, and collaborates closely with team leads to solve complex engineering challenges.

Focuses on the design, analysis, and testing of the rocket's mechanical components. Responsible for developing structural frameworks, mechanisms, and moving parts that are robust and reliable. Ensures that all mechanical systems can withstand the stresses of launch and flight conditions.

Specializes in the design and development of the rocket's hybrid engine and propulsion system. Works on fuel selection, combustion processes, and engine performance optimization. Conducts simulations and oversees testing phases to ensure the propulsion system meets safety and efficiency standards.

Develops and executes marketing strategies, branding initiatives, and outreach campaigns to attract sponsors, partners, and new team members.

Plans, organizes, and oversees RISE’s events, ensuring smooth logistics, engaging experiences, and successful representation at industry and university gatherings.

Manages RISE’s online presence by creating, scheduling, and engaging with content across platforms to boost awareness and community interaction.

As External Affairs Specialist at RISE, you will lead partnership development and external communications. Engage with industry leaders to secure sponsorships and promote our mission of developing biofuel-powered rockets for a sustainable future in space exploration.

Designs the rocket's control systems, including guidance, navigation, and stabilization mechanisms. Develops algorithms and control strategies to maintain the rocket's intended trajectory and orientation. Works closely with software and electrical engineers to integrate control systems seamlessly.

Responsible for the design and integration of the rocket's electrical systems. Manages power distribution, wiring schematics, sensor integration, and communication interfaces. Ensures all electrical components function correctly under various operational conditions and comply with safety standards.

Develops the onboard software that controls the rocket's operations. Works on flight control systems, data acquisition, real-time processing, and communication protocols. Ensures the software is efficient, reliable, and capable of handling the demands of real-time mission-critical tasks.
